Berg previously co-founded Thrinno, a software start-up for metal 3D printing with successful exit. Next, he was an engineering team lead at Oqton, where he co-designed several graph-related algorithms.
Applying reinforcement learning for waste sorting brings together a passion for technology and for striving towards a greener world, since making sorting more affordable strengthens the motivation to recycle.
Johan Van den Bossche
CO-FOUNDER
Mauhn is Johan’s 8th co-founded tech company. Earlier founded companies include Krypton, Xenomatix and Elmedix. He also co-founded SO Kwadraat, a non profit organisation where experienced entrepreneurs coach tech start-ups. Johan coached Berg in the context of his first company Thrinno.
Johan has hired over 200 people and was co-author of 30+ patents.
He is parttime involved with Mauhn, actively advising on operational, business and technical directions.
Dr. Jeroen Van Cleemput
SOFTWARE ARCHITECT
Having worked on the integration of software of 150+ software developers at Western Digital, Jeroen has a lot of experience in software architecture and devops. He elegantly abstracted away our build processes, Cloud infrastructure details and turned our software stack in a modular framework of integrated APIs.
